Faculty Traveling Seminar

Seminar Dates: To be announced
   
Description: This five-day, four-night bus journey kicks off Monday morning, following a buffet breakfast at the Piscataway home of President Richard L. McCormick, and ends by 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
   
Selection Criteria: Tenured or tenure-track faculty appointed within four years of the application date are eligible to apply. Selection priority will be given to those who are new to New Jersey. Newly appointed, senior academic administrators and deans are invited to apply.
   
Time Commitment: Participants are expected to spend five days and four nights as part of the group, immersed in travel, activities, meetings, and meals.
   
Meals and Lodging: All transportation, dining, and hotel arrangements are provided by the university through nonstate sources of funding.
   
Notification: Applications must be received in the Office of Community Affairs by the end of January of the tour year. Participants selected for the seminar will be notified in late February.
   
Orientation: A group presentation takes place approximately one month prior to the tour. Participants will learn about the program and the travel route details.
